Concept & Refinement

The journey begins with your spark of an idea. Share your initial vision, including sketches, mood boards, or dimensional constraints. Our design liaison will then work with you to understand the material context, aesthetic, and functional requirements of your project, ensuring our shared vision is perfectly aligned.

Once the concept is clear, our engineering team produces detailed technical drawings, CAD files, and 3D renderings. This phase includes material sampling and finish mock-ups for your review. Upon final sign-off, we provide a comprehensive quotation, production schedule, and secure the necessary deposits to begin the crafting process.

Artisan Production

Fabrication commences within the appropriate atelier, whether that is the artist’s private studio or the Aftab Gallery workshop. Regardless of the location, we maintain rigorous oversight of the process. Our team coordinates directly with the maker to provide you with progress updates, ensuring the final object meets our gallery’s exacting standards before it is released for shipping.

After final inspection and packaging, we coordinate global logistics. Your piece is delivered to your site, regardless of location, with utmost care. We handle all transport details to ensure your piece arrives safely and securely at its destination.

Our commissions are backed by exclusive access to a curated inventory of materials, from rare, sustainably-sourced hardwoods to exotic metals, hand-applied patinas, and artisan glassblowing techniques.

Full Bespoke Commission

Starting from a blank slate. We facilitate a direct collaboration between you and the chosen designer, or the Aftab Gallery design team, to engineer a completely new form. This process involves original sketches, material sourcing, and the creation of a unique work that exists solely for your space.

Collection Modification

Applying custom finishes, changing dimensions, or specifying unique materials on an existing Aftab Gallery piece. This process is faster and focuses on fitting our proven designs perfectly into your project’s environment.
