Global Logistics and Flexible Delivery Services
Shipping & Delivery
Our commitment to craftsmanship extends seamlessly to our delivery process. We offer flexible, customer-focused shipping options to ensure your piece arrives safely, anywhere in the world.
Meticulous Delivery, Global Reach
Secure Crated Freight (Worldwide)
This is our base service for shipping globally. The item is securely crated and delivered to the curb, or the nearest accessible ground floor entrance of the delivery address.
✓Shipment is delivered on a pallet via specialized freight carrier.
✓Requires the recipient to arrange for movement, unpacking, and setup of the item inside the location.
✓Delivery appointment scheduling is included.
✓International shipments are quoted as **DDU (Delivered Duty Unpaid)** unless specified otherwise.
Lead Time Clarification
Shipping transit time typically ranges from 1-4 weeks, depending on the destination and carrier’s schedule. This is in addition to the stated production time of your item.
Premium White-Glove Coordination
Upon request, we can coordinate White-Glove service through established third-party logistics partners globally for the highest level of care and convenience.
✓Includes two-person crew for careful maneuvering into the designated room.
✓Complete unpacking and placement of the item (e.g., attaching components, positioning).
✓Removal and disposal of all packaging materials and debris.
✓Service scope is tailored to the specific architecture of the delivery location. Please inquire for a specific quote.
For all international shipments, the client or recipient is typically responsible for local duties, taxes, customs brokerage fees, and VAT. We recommend consulting a local customs broker for accurate import cost estimates.
Storage Services.
Commissioned pieces often complete prior to site readiness. Aftab Gallery can arrange secure, climate-controlled storage for your acquisition for up to 30 days post-completion as a courtesy, with extended terms available upon request.
Receiving Your Order: Inspection Protocol
To protect your investment and ensure a seamless claims process if necessary, please follow these steps precisely upon delivery.
Step 1: External Assessment
Prior to signing the Bill of Lading, conduct a visual inspection of the crate. Note any signs of impact, crushing, or moisture directly on the carrier’s paperwork.
Step 2: Liability Transfer
Please note: A signature without exceptions confirms the shipment arrived in perfect condition. To protect your insurance claim, you must record specific observations (e.g., “crate corner dented”) before the driver departs.
Step 3: Internal Verification
Upon uncrating, if any anomaly is found, cease unpacking immediately. Photograph the condition and contact Aftab Gallery within 48 hours to initiate a resolution.
