A record for every piece.
Every piece we make has a serial number and is recorded in the Aftab Registry. Enter the number from the plate or label on the piece to check it, or to register it in your name.
You will see the piece, the year it was made and its finish. Owner names and contact details stay private and are never shown.

What the record gives you
Proof of origin
A certificate in your name, and a private page for your piece, where we share photos from the workshop, care notes and documents with you.
Easy transfer
If you sell your piece or give it to someone else, the record moves to the new owner online, with your approval.
Care and repair
The studio keeps the drawings for every piece, so we can help with care, repairs or refinishing, even years later.
Early access
If you wish, you can hear about new pieces first, before they are shown to anyone else.

Registering your piece
Check
Enter the serial number at the top of this page. If the piece has no owner yet, the registration form opens under it.
Register
Add your name, email and country, and where you bought the piece if you know. The request comes straight to the studio.
Your page
We usually check every registration within 3 working days. Once it is approved, your certificate and your own private page arrive by email.
Ownership transfer
Moving the record to a new owner
Request
The new owner checks the serial number on this page and sends a transfer request.
Approve
The registered owner approves the transfer from an email we send. The request stays open for 7 days.
Confirmed
The record moves to the new owner, and each of you receives a confirmation by email.

Questions about the registry
Where is the serial number?
On a plate or label on the piece, and on the certificate that comes with it.
Is my name shown to anyone?
No. A check only shows the piece. Your name and contact details stay with the studio and are used only for your piece.
Can I sell or give my piece to someone?
Yes. The new owner requests the transfer here, and you approve it by email. Nothing changes without your approval.
How do I register my piece?
Enter the serial number at the top of this page. If the piece has no owner yet, register it in your name there. We check every registration and send your certificate and owner page by email.
My serial number is not found.
Check the number on the plate, label or certificate. If it is still not found, contact the studio with a photo of the plate or label.
I have lost my certificate.
Your certificate is on your private owner page. If you cannot find the email with the link, check your serial number at the top of this page and ask for the link again. We send it to the email the piece is registered to.
