Bogen Dining Table

by Tara Aftab

Bogen Dining Table is an exercise in architectural rhythm and gravity. Its defining feature is a series of monumental, U-shaped arches cast in antique bronze, which repeat in a disciplined cadence to form a sculptural base. This rhythmic metalwork supports a wafer-thin, monolithic slab of Nero Marquina marble, creating a visual tension between the visual weight of the stone and the curvature of the support.

More than a dining surface, the Bogen is a centerpiece designed to command a room. The interplay of the dark, veined stone against the warm, burnished metal creates a material dialogue of sophistication and strength. Commissioned as a bespoke work, it transforms the daily ritual of dining into an experience of high design, standing as a future antique intended to be inherited.
