Orga Console Table

by Tara Aftab

Orga Console Table captures the raw, kinetic energy of nature frozen in stone. Carved from a monolithic block of highly veined black marble, its silhouette rejects the static linearity of traditional design in favor of fluid, biomorphic curves. The dramatic central aperture transforms the piece into a frame for negative space, allowing light and shadow to become an integral part of the structure.

Executed as a bespoke commission, the Orga is a testament to the artisan’s ability to tame the unyielding density of stone into a form that feels liquid and alive. Each table possesses a unique geological fingerprint, serving as a functional sculpture that brings the ancient history of the earth into the contemporary interior.
