Dorada Sofa

The Dorada Sofa carries the arch of the Dorada Lounge Chair into a three-seat form. Each arm and leg is a single sweeping arch of highly polished timber, its grain radiating outward like a sunburst and edged in fine brass. Between the arches sit three softly upholstered seat cushions and three back cushions in suede, finished with piped seams. Dark bases trimmed in brass ground the whole piece.

The Dorada Sofa gives the collection its widest gesture. The two arches frame the seating like an arcade, and the warm suede softens their polished geometry. Conceived as a future antique, it carries the opulence of Art Deco into a living room, library or hotel lounge, and is intended to be inherited.
