Cubus Chair

Cubus Chair is a study in volume and restraint. Defined by its monolithic silhouette, the piece presents a generous, tactile block of artisan upholstery that anchors the room with quiet gravity. This softness is disciplined by a sharp, architectural intervention: a continuous band of hand-finished bronze that slices through the form, acting as both structural spine and visual punctuation.

More than a seat, the Cubus is a sculptural object designed to engage with its environment from every angle. The floating backrest, suspended by the metal framework, creates a negative space that feels intentional and composed. Commissioned as a bespoke work, it balances the raw, organic texture of the material with the refined precision of the metalwork, embodying the Aftab ethos of functional art that transcends the decorative.
